POINTS OF INTEREST: karst pond, cultivated doline, natural doline, doline with cave entrance, unroofed cave
We present the diversity of hollows and hollows as a unique but extremely numerous geoheritage of the karst surface. As part of the KRASn'KRŠ project (Interreg Slovenia-Croatia), we focused on natural and constructed sinkholes and roofless caves. We present them on four karst thematic trails or interpretation polygons: on the low karst plateau Karst (Sežana, Škocjan Caves), on the high karst plateau Snežnik / Gorski kotar (Platak) and on the island of Krk (Punat).
